The beginning of this year, I got the email from HERE Havas Worldwide Paris Accor Philippine van Tichelen for this feature of 10 CEOs in hospitality and tourism sector with social impact in France 🇫🇷 Apparently it was another moving moment that there are so many actors in hospitality and tourism sector who are supporting NomadHer journey. Currently we are planning global Female Globetrotter Festival in Busan, Paris, San Francisco and New York to feature female travelers from all around the world and to share our voice together and we are looking forward to partner with different brands who want to target and promote your brand targeting for female travelers! 👉

I was so excited to present @NomadHer in London 🇬🇧, (yes also for Matcha + Blueberry latte) thanks to the invitation from . There is a long way to go, but every single step and failure has taught me many lessons, and I cannot wait to see what’s coming next!

NomadHer was in London thanks to the invitation from and HEC in the UK in front of the HEC Paris alumni with amazing startups founded by female founders. I cannot wait to see more female founders raising capital and growing the business such as Canva founder Melanie Perkins 😍

NomadHer will be featured on @GooglePlay Documentary 🥹🙏Back in February this year, I received an email with the subject ‘Google Play Documentary - There is a possibility of featuring NomadHer on Google’s We Are Play Film.’ Initially, I thought, ‘Is this spam? 😂🤔’After exchanging over 20 emails, journalists from London, UK interviewed my story first. We then had several follow-up calls to delve deeper into how founding NomadHer and the support from Google Play have empowered women and female travelers worldwide.The production team asked me, ‘Where would you like to film the NomadHer video? Paris? Seoul? Anywhere in the world that you feel would best spotlight the story of NomadHer.’ I chose my hometown, Busan, where I find so much inspiration and love, and where I wanted to shine a spotlight.Four months later, Jamie, Josh, and 8 other members of the production team from South Korea gathered, and we filmed for 48 hours. It was my first time meeting people in the film industry, and I learned so much, especially about the importance of each role, including sound, photography, video, lighting, direction, and storytelling.The film will be released this September, and I can’t wait to share it with everyone! 🥹

NomadHer was nominated as one of the 10 rising generation for tourism and hospitality sectors in France 🇫🇷.🌊 For the past 5 years solo female travel industry has increased 560%🥹 80% of women wish to go solo traveling but 78% of women still hesitate out of the safety reasons 🗺️ 80% of solo travelers are women and women make the major decisions when it comes to the final payment during their traveling. This year we are releasing our NomadHer version 7.0 to increase the matching rate among female travelers and also to partner with more local actors in tourism industry with local female major business owners. Cannot wait to see how NomadHer would look like in 20 years from now on!
